This event is held on the lands of the Ngunnawal people. We pay our respects to them as the Traditional Custodians of this region, and to their Elders past and present. We honour their continuing connection to land, waters and sky, and acknowledge the enduring contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to community, culture, and sport, including athletics, both throughout history and today.
